Shana Cochran is an Arkansas artist living Mammoth Spring. She was born in Nebraska, but has lived in north Arkansas or southern Missouri all her life. She received a B.S.E. in art at Arkansas State University in 1988 and has taken art classes in Taos, New Mexico, and Florence, Italy, as well as locally with a variety of artists. 

She has been teaching art classes in public & private setting all of her adult life. She is presently teaches workshop and works as an artist in her studio located in her rural home. As an art teacher she has been awarded the Golden Ruler Award, The Silver Cane, America’s Who’s Who among artist /teacher, and has served one term as the AAE Presidents.

She has been involved in art shows and exhibits of her own work since the 70’s and has won awards on many levels. Shana has been involved in 3 one-woman exhibits. Her work is found in homes and business around the U.S. and can be currently be viewed at the Spring River Gallery, Chestnut Gallery, Palace Drug Store, and Fay’s Place.
