  Joy's rural background has always prompted her to paint natures' perfect productions.  As a child growing up in rural Iowa, she longed to learn to paint what she saw.  With no formal art instruction, she put off painting until her retirement years. She enjoys bringing birds, flowers and rural scenes, to life as you will see in her work.
